Uplift Project

The Uplift Project Miri began as a passion project in 2019, when a group of friends came together to support and empower B40 families. Their mission was to create opportunities and provide access to education for children in need. Officially registered in 2022, Uplift Project has continued to make a positive impact in B40 communities in Miri. Since its inception in 2019, Uplift has reached out to over 170 families, and has supported over 150 children / students, helping them prepare for education and supporting them in their journeys.

What do we do?

Empowering the Next Generation

This outreach empowers youth through education, skills training, and community engagement. We aim to equip them with the tools and confidence to thrive, break free from poverty, and become active contributors to society.

Community Outreach

Serving the urban poor communities in Miri through various outreach initiatives. We provide essential support such as food aid, addressing immediate needs within these communities. Furthermore, we organise festive celebrations and gatherings, fostering a sense of belonging and joy during important cultural occasions. These efforts aim to demonstrate God's love in practical ways and build stronger connections with our neighbours in need.
